Who Makes The Best Training Footballs In The UK?
In my opinion the best training footballs are manufactured in Sialkot, Pakistan. I don’t know why but the quality tends to be better and the materials used seem to be longer lasting. I am sure India will catch up soon enough and China must be able to produce higher quality footballs than they are currently. Maybe it is the spec given to them that leads to cheaper footballs. Having said that India do manufacture some decent models but overall Pakistan seem more consistent.

What’s New For This Year?
Manufacturers like Mitre, Nike and Precision launch new graphics, colours and brand names, every 2 to 3 years. This keeps the models looking fresh and allow the brands to take advantage of new technologies. Mitre have launched some great models in 2024 and updated the panel designs and graphics. The training balls now have a 6 panel configuration and moulded grooves. The Match balls range have also been updated and we are excited to seem them in action across the UK. I look forward to seeing the other brand launches later this year.
