Sportsballstu videos – Over the last 10 to 15 years, I have managed to create a large catalog of videos that cover a variety of topics. The Sportsballstu YouTube channel started as a bit of fun with John (my brother). When he challenged me to create a video to settle a bet. He thought it was crazy to spend all week filming, editing, and uploading videos on a number of our products when it could be done in an hour or so.
The 1st video we did was on How To Inflate A Ball Without A Pump; this has now been viewed over 450,000 times and is our most watched video, especially popular on Christmas day. I assume this is because presents containing balls didn’t include a ball pump.
The quality of the videos wasn’t meant to be high budget but to give a more rustic and endearing quality. We obviously care about the products and ideas and didn’t want to spend all week creating Hollywood style videos. However, over time we have played with the format and design of the editing but at the end of the day, we only ever used a mobile phone to shoot them.
Some of the videos were branded with the Sportsballshop and SportsBall.co.uk logo or website. At the time, we were also trying to promote those brands alongside our own channel. From now we shall only be promoting this website and our Youtube channel. This should allow us to give balanced and fair feedback when required.
If you have any ideas for future videos please do email or leave a comment. We will then aim to research and shoot something interesting, on a budget.
